These are the concluding comment made by the authors in this paper given at the recent The Council for British Archaeology conference in Newcastle UK.

 

 

The Council for British Archaeology and the International Centre for Cultural and Heritage Studies organised this well attended two-day conference at Newcastle University and the Great North Museum on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th March.
