 From Mark

21st March 2006

Mark sent me some pics of things he has bought from one of the most notorious of sellers of fakes on eBay whose full name, address and telephone number is available on request.

Amongst other things I said he should get over to the yahoo group right away...and here we go...

Does anyone know the seller....egyptianseller on ebay?

I have bought many items from this person but when I started to look around at a website about fake artifacts boy did I learn something. I noticed that I may have been sold alot of fakes.

Can anyone help me I feel the

photos that I have sent to ancientartifacts is going to come back as fake. I have spent alot of money and am currently bidding on something else from this seller. Hope you have some ideas as to help get this seller off of ebay and hopefully my money back if they are really fake. Thanks alot,

HI Mark

In the first place you must cancel your bids for further items!

'Egyptianseller' has never sold an authentic artefact yet, he is the worst of the current crop of fakers.  There are well qualified experts on this group who would be only too pleased to give a formal opinion that the items are all fake.

Further than that you should tell him that you are going to return everything you have bought from him and you want all your money back including the shipping costs!

Tell him that if he does not co-operate that you will be making a complaint to eBay and to the police.  (Even if he does co-operate, make that complaint anyway after you've got your money back!)

eBay have taken a percentage of your money as 'final value fees' - maybe you could threaten to sue them for its return?  They have been told about 'egyptianseller' over and over again and cannot claim innocence, and are complicit in the fraud.

eBay are quite likely to take some notice of a complaint which says you have lost a substantial sum of money, and may even remove this scumbag from their site as a result.

Best of luck!  If there's more you need help with let us know and keep us up to date with how you are doing!

From Mark

I did not know paypal was owned by eBay, they make it easy on themselves. I just filed my complaint with paypal, and sent an email via ebay to the seller and explained that what I bought was all fraud. I gave him until this thursday to give a complete refund or I would report them to the police and ebay. I sent a letter to ebay complained about the seller items were fraud and that they knew of their activities from past reports. Waiting as usual for responses.

Mike,

They will and are helping me right now as we speak. I haven't seen any deposits so you better get going with the deposits. You will get the items back when full restitution has been made and only then.  As you know I may need these for court should the refunds are not made.

So far this is between you and I but you are running out of time talking and talking but you have done nothing to take care of this fraudulent act you have committed. I have waited for you to make deposits instead you send notices of non payment for the Triad. The way this can be worked out is for you to make deposits.........full restitution must be made....no other deals. You have until Monday to start with the deposits. No more.

Let's see action now on your part

Good heavens!

I  hope that you will stand firm.

Another seller of junk, ancientgr4 used to threaten buyers like this.

Of course the whole thing is hot air,......and ancientgr4 got thrown off eBay eventually.

I would, in your shoes, send a copy of his email to PayPal and eBay as such, and tell him you demand your money back immediately or else you will break off contact with him and put it entirely in the hands of the authorities.

He is adopting this method because I guess a lot of people would feel intimidated.  He is actually the party who is frightened.

Can I place his email on the website here I have already placed the pics and some info?

If he does refund all your money, I would still be inclined to follow through in reporting him.

This simply cannot be allowed to continue.

Keep me posted.

I am thoroughly enraged on your behalf!

from Mark

Sure you can use the emails on your website and I have a few more responses from him since these came in. I gave him until close of business today and if no payments are made back to my account with paypal then he can pick the items up when he makes parole and that would be the only time he would get them back. I will send the messages to you now.

I Trust you and I will work to help you for this matter

To  show you that I will solve this problem

I will refund to  you the last 3 items you bought and please return it back so I can return it to my dealers and get there money and trust me I will stop dealing with this dealer and start looking for better one

For the other items it is so hard to return it back to my dealers because it been long time since I paid for it

But don't worry I will refund you the rest but since it is huge amount so I cant refund it back all at once and Please note that most of this amount is in my dealers Hand.

Also you should have told me about this problem long time ago so I can solve this problem easily

Now please help me in this try to get me any thing to proof to my dealers that these items are fake and please return it back fast as you can

Also I will ask you to ship each item individually pack each item in separate box  including your Name and Item number and pack it will I must receive the items in the same conditions you received it

Please ship it to..... [removed]

Please calm down and I will solve this problem

Thanks

Michael Aziz

Mike,

NO ITEMS will be returned now, only when I have a FULL REFUND OF ALL MONIES  will you get these back. You are wasting time sending these emails, you have the money and I am sure you know these are fakes. This is not your first infraction. You are the one wasting time. No you will not get them back until I get my money, IN FULL. Instead of BS'ing your way through this just do what is right, you know you have been selling fakes

I am very calm because I have the law on my side and I have the proof!!!!

Deposits Mike, think deposits not BS

ok Mark

i tried my best to help you

I CANT OFFER THAT AMOUNT

i gave you the best offer that i can do it for you

You mentioned that you will take me to Prison

So do you threaten me

ok your position is not good

I have 7 days returned policy and you exceed that period you paid and left me + feedback

and Please note that i don't live in USA so nothing of the American rules apply on me

so you should make a international Fraud Report and i think that your case is so small for that

also how can you proof that these items were the items that you sold from me 2 month ago maybe you change it with fakes item

and allot more in my right

so now i gave you my offer and i tried to help you and you all you care about is your money Fast

So now you understand your and my situation

Also if you decided to not to solve this problem between me and you  I will cancel my offer and wait to see what the court will say and I wont refund a cent to you until I forced to do so

Thanks

Michael Aziz

Ok...what can we do?

I really find this offensive...

Would you like to know the seller's email  full name and  address ?

Anyone here from or near Bayonne New Jersey?

That's where this junk is shipped from.

From Mark to eBay

I have sent you our email communication.

My items which were supposed to be authentic but they are all fakes and I had them looked at by a University Proffessor who has an exhibit right now about ancient Egytian artifacts and he says that they are all fakes.

Then  Mike Aziz alias egyptianseller says that I exchanged the real for fakes.

Come on what kind of a person or people do you allow to sell items on your site. I am going to file fraud charges with the police and I will not return these items until I get a full refund.

Ebay you may need to start taking a look at your sellers. Yes you make money with each sale !

But I have believed this seller to be a true one, not very experienced with ancient Egyptian artifact, it looked old the add said it was real but a pro says otherwise. I am reporting this to you because he is a fraud, I withdrew my winning bid for 2 items after I found out these were all fake and he agreed to refund the money, never got it. What are you going to do with this seller?? I want him shut down before he hurts and defrauds more people.

Thank you

 From Mark

1st April 2006

I got an email from egyptianseller this morning. He requested a deal to refund all money I paid to him. I answered and said not a problem start refunding. He has agreed to refund 3 items now and when I send those items to him he will refund more. I have confirmation from Paypal that he has made 3 deposits. In the end hopefully he will disappear, I doubt it but most like reappear as something else.

I'm pleased for you but bet you eBay does not throw him off!

14th May 06

egyptianseller refunded a little money to Mark.

Then he went quiet.

Here are the two last emails after Mark asked for the refund  to continue.

His demand to have you remove feedback is called FEEDBACK EXTORTION and is a serious offence under eBay rules.  You can most certainly report him for it and this is the sort of thing that eBay WILL take notice of.
