This red stone (? cornelian) intaglio is from the Moustaki collection. It is 21 mm long
To my eyes the work is poor and it looks wrong.
The inscription looks like Coptic but does not mean anything to me.
Would be very interested to know what others think.

I cannot find any convincing stylistic parallels which might give an idea about provenance (and authenticity).
As it's from the Moustaki collection it might be a local "Egyptian" style.
If we are thinking of a Coptic intaglio, I'm afraid that I do not know of any reference catalogue and also we would need a Coptologist.
Just note that the letters are incised by wheel cut: but the upper portion of P is round shaped (and apparently badly cut) and this is quite odd.
