There were also other types of  fake artefact including  shabtis

which I will place in the fake shabtis section soon

Though these fakes will not  cause any difficulty to very  knowlegeable collectors.

a question consequently arose about an amulet already in a collection

which appeared to be extremely close to this one.

These two are actually slightly different sizes.

Same mould?

Maybe the mould suffered some shrinkage?

Actually  I have established that the one on the right is genuine.

Ask me of you want to know.

I don't intend giving  the  fake makers any useful information here to assist them in improving  their fakes.
