Recently a number of forgeries of Tell Halaf figurines have been sold perfectly openly and honestly, advertised as "after the antique".

However as there is a chance that they will reappear on the market advertised as genuine, here they are!

And another presumably from the same hand.

And really a great shame that an antiquities auction website is releasing so many fakes onto the market.
