Smaller piece with 3 horizontal lines of text in black on
alternating yellow/white grounds separated by green borders.



Approx 60mm x 30mm



Larger piece with 2 vertical lines of text in black on a
yellow ground: part of a funerary text reading: ' ..he is at peace with his
mummy.." and '.. travels downstream, all.." 

105mm long.



Good condition and very nice colours.

Probably 26th dynasty (see JEA Vol 70, pl. XVIII: coffin of
Namenkh-amun for style)

From  UK collection the late Julian Bird. Acquired in Egypt late 1970s.
