Ex Belgian Brussels collection.

I have found out that a  group of shabtis from this ancient owner were in a collection in Germany which was formed between the 1930s and 1950.  They were all much the same size, 90mm  to 94mm, and though from several different molds all with the same type of rather roughly done  inscriptions in two columms. All are the same colour and quality of faience. The maker who painted the inscriptions was possibly illiterate. See photo showing very crudely painted hieroglyphs and reversal error.
