This is a La Tene iron cutlass with very well preserved metal. I have not seen such a well preserved and completely unrestored, untreated, La Tene cutlass for a long time; though it looks as if the tip had bent and has been re-straightened.
A good size at 15.25 inches / 38.5 cms.
It is well nigh identical to one in the Sevlievo Museum a pic of which I show.
La Tene circa 2nd century BC.
Found in Bulgaria.
