This lovely ring seems in terms of design and working, to fall between a late Hellenistic type and a type seen very early in the Roman Empire. It's find provenance cannot help us in this as that's not known. Good bronze metal with an engraved metal bezel inset and which has a nice deep ruddy cuprite patina. UK sixze K, USA size 5 1/8 1st century BC - early 1st century AD
