Quite a number of this type, not particularly convincing, have appeared on eBay over the last few years.


These are also not particularly well made.

But this one, a  good copy of a known type is really convincing enough 

to fool a lot of collectors.


This one was apparently made by someone in Eastern Europe. He created a mould from an original and I'm told her leaves the replica in the ground for a couple of years in order to develop  the 'patina'.

Many of these are honestly made and honestly sold reproductions.

But quite a few eBay sellers have offered them as genuine.
