Genuine or fake?

Something else which  worries me about this piece are some the other things being offered by the same seller with the same offer of certificates of authenticity.

 

Such as these two so called Egyptian faience amulets!

Same material, same style, same little factory?

 

And these two odd things. Again same material, same strange spidery way of writing hieroglyphs which are essentialy meaningless. OK it does read Ptah there at the bottom on the one below left,  but the rest of it is meaningless. As for what is writen in the cartouche below right, well it is supposed be the name of a king; but it is most certainly not.

It could well be that the seller of these honestly believes that they are as described. Though why, I simply cannot even  guess at.

So I think we will pass on the terracotta!
