ALSO  PLEASE NOTE

There are hardly any items for sale beyond page 29 on the gallery here.

I have left so many sold items on show (and in the sold archive) as many collectors have said they find such photos and information useful to have.

Very unusual motif on Indus Valley pottery

Whereas clearly the Egyptians in the pre-dynastic times were in some ways influenced by the Elamite rendition of the stag, here we see a possibly Egyptian influence on Indus Valley Civilisation pottery.

Compare with the typical Naqada design.

I think the figures are meant to be in a stockade rather than in a boat.

Totally intact.

68mm x 103 mm.

Most unusual. Never seen the type before.

Balochistan. Early 3rd millenium BC.

Ex named Australian collection.

Price: 395 GBP
