Isis and Nephthys were the mythological sister deities
and this pair have been together since they first

came into existence some two and half thousands years
ago!

One does from time to time comes across faience amulets
which are clearly from the same the same tomb or the same necklace.

It feels such a shame to separate them after all this
time so I'm only letting them go if they stay together.

This is a nice pair and the Nephthys here is particularly
well made and preserved

with crisp detailing for a faience amulet of this
relatively diminutive size. 27mm and 26mm

Late period, circa 500 BC

Price: sold GBP
