A large, imposing Egyptian polychrome painted anthropoid
wooden sarcophagus fragment with applied gesso, depicting the male deceased
with crimson body, green collar and cream tunic, with one hand held to his
chest, the other outstretched,  seated on
a stool with lattice bracing, possibly with the end of his name in a single
hieroglyph reading, 'Wa' and below, 'Osiris'.
